1) How would you describe your journey from an international cricketer to an ace actor?
It’s been quite a ride … acting is really tough and my first dialogue was “mai aa raha hoon” and I could manage in 40 takes. But it’s been fun with no regrets.

2) Do you really believe that a cricketer can become a successful actor and vice-versa?
Anyone can become whatever he wants if the will is there and is backed up by hard work and dedication in the right direction. Though I would say that find what is good for u and rationalize for yourself. Don’t depend on others opinions.

3) How was your experience sharing the same dressing room with the legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, and others?
It was great to share the same dressing room with the legends Sachin and Kumble. They were the two who never gave up and gave their 200 percent. They were the rockstars of the team and one could easily depend on them with one’s eyes closed. One can learn a lot from them. Others were Rahul and Saurav. Super human cricketers!

4) What are your future projects?
I am working on two Telugu films scheduled for release this year. I am the main villain in those films and the roles are awesomely interesting as I play a character who I can never be in real life.

5) Do you think Virat Kohli is capable to lead India in both tests and ODIs, if Dhoni relinquishes captaincy?
MSD is one of the best captains INDIA has ever produced, he is the ultimate team man and when he says that Virat is the man for the job then no one can argue. Virat has the aggression to lead the team from the front and he is young and has the teams support. So he is the one.

6) Name your five most favorite cricketers of all time.
Wasim Akram, Ian Botham, Dennis Lillee, Sir Richard Hadlee, and Sir Vivian Richards.

7) Name your favorite actors and actresses.
Al Pacino, Robert de Niro, Mickey Rourke, Charlize Theron and Aamir Khan.
